Hi all my blog readers. Today I finished my book about FIVE FAMOUS WRITERS. I am blogging about one guy and that is it. His name is Walter Dean Myers he wrote 60 kids books and teen books he won a lot of awards. He was born in West Virgina and he his mom died when he was 3 years old. His dad did not have enough money to raise him and friends of the family helped raise Walter's family moved to New York City he loved the city. Walter went to school he did not talk so well and no one could really understand him BTW Walter was black. Walter wrote poem and he would read then to the class everyone laughed and pointed because he could not talk well and he though his book across the room. And got sent to the principal the principal said why don't you wright poems with words you can say. He said OK thanks for the idea. He wrote a lot of story's and books. Walter's dad told him ghost story's and monster story's when he was a kid. And Walter won a lot of awards he won this award call the king of writers 5 times. And many of awards. He got lots of book's published. He sometimes use to skip school and go to the park and read and write on his note book his principal gave him because there was a new one hanging around the office she thought he would like it. And one day he was asked to write a kids book for kids to read in school he had never wrote a kids book. But he did it was called HOW DOES THE DAY END and one called WERE DOES THE DAY GO Walter won first place he got a award for it and then he keep ed writing story's and then continued his live as a famous writer.
