floating Science experiment

Today I did a  Science experiment it was about how things float this is about salt water
Things float because water pushes up on them more then they push down this upward force is called upthrust if an object is denser then water the water cannot provide enough upthrust so the object sinks. All you need to do this experiment is 2 clear drinking glasses and fill them both up half way with cold water and then take a big spoon and salt and but 10 tea spoons in there you also take 2 eggs and place them in there so put 10 tee spoons only in one glass and when you put the salt in there stir it till it is clear and then watch the eggs one will sink and one will float and what one will float?. Salt water is very easy to float in because there is salt in it and a lake that is not salt water is hard to float in because there is not salt in the water so say there was a 100 pound boy and he went swimming at the lake with salt in the water he goes to float he will not sink did you know if you have a million pounds of iron and put it in salt water it will not sink. Say you have floaty for a pool you wont sink because there is air in the floaty so this was a very fun experiment I hope I get to do it next year well this is it for today. I have one more thing called salty sea salty water is denser then pure water this makes it easier for people to float in it a like in Israel calles the dead sea has water thats so salty it's very easy to float in. well this is it bye.
